"Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience here. The 5 star reviews are definitely based on the 10% discount they are offering for good reviews. We got a pot of Adeni Saffron Chai, Mufawar Coffee, Pistachio Iced Latte, and some desserts. We got the wrong desserts and the drinks did not taste good at all and we could not finish them. All the milk cakes were dry and stale. The atmosphere is nice but they can definitely do better with their food."

"I came here with two friends to check out the new Yemeni coffee house, and it instantly became one of our favorite spots in the city. From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us with such warmth. I loved the feeling of being treated just as kindly as longtime regulars. The atmosphere is perfect!!! It is bright, cozy, and calm enough for getting work done, but still charming and intimate enough for a coffee date. I ordered the Jubani coffee and the Lotus cake, and WOW both were absolutely phenomenal. The Jubani coffee is unlike any coffee I've had before. It is very fragrant and the flavor of cardamom is delicious. The Lotus cheesecake, and it was the perfect balance of sweet and indulgent. My friends loved their orders too, and we were all genuinely blown away. We left already planning our next visit. With delicious food, a beautiful ambience, and staff who make you feel right at home, this place is truly a gem. We’ll definitely be back!!!"

"It couldn’t have come at a better time. Six Starbucks locations just vanished from Center City last week, and this spot is stepping right into the gap they left behind. Instead of corporate monotony, it brings culture, style, and deep history. I ordered the Yemeni Tea and Mufawar Coffee, both with a little white sugar. The blend of cardamom and spices hits you instantly—warming, aromatic, and unforgettable. It’s one of those flavors that stops you mid-sentence. You just have to experience it for yourself, and when you do, you’ll probably find yourself writing a glowing review too. Next time, I’m adding milk to my tea and trying one of their specialty drinks. The Duba Chocolate Latte caught my eye, something I saw trending online a while back but never got around to trying. Their Saffron Latte also looks incredible—rich, golden, and unlike anything you’ll find at your usual coffee shop. Prices are a bit higher than what you’ll find at Elixr or Rival Bros, but there’s a reason for that. Yemeni coffee is among the most prized and high-quality beans in the world and you cannot replicate this flavor anywhere else in the city."

"Found this cute place by accident and I’m very glad I took the chance and went in. The cashier Taliah was extremely warm and helpful after learning it was my first time there she gave a few suggestions, the pastries looked extremely delicious out. I got the Mufawar and it was so well balanced with cardamom. Very happy with the quality of everything. Will definitely come back!"
