What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Ordered a cortado to go, heard the person behind me order the same thing. I also heard the person at the register relay a “cortado” to the person making the drink. The person making the drink announced “cortado” as it was served. Unfortunately, I was not served a cortado, it is an 8oz latte. I saw people in the shop drinking what I assume were cortados, it looked like they were served in the correct size cup. This was not the to-go experience It’s fine to serve a cortado in an 8oz cup, but it should not be filled to the brim"
"My favorite café in the city. Honestly, sometimes I come here just for the tiles :)) The coffee is really good, and the staff is friendly and attentive. What stands out the most is the design. The contrast between the clean, white upper walls and the busy patterns below naturally shows the personality of the tiles. Well thought out! I’m no interior designer (I’m actually better at judging coffee!), but this place just has something special."
"Reviews deceived us. Most expensive and low quality place ever. My friend and I had seen such great reviews on this place so we decided to give it a go. I got an Iced Vanilla Latte with Almond milk and a parfait. My friend got an Iced Vanilla Latte with whole milk and a caprese sandwich. Prices: The prices aren’t displayed on any food items, but I had assumed it would be no more than $10 total. When my total was $15 I was gagged, as I feel a small cafe that mainly focuses on coffee should not be overly priced especially on food. Foods are primary ordered if someone wants a quick snack, something light, or something to eat while they complete work. I think there was no reason for my small parfait to be $10. My friend’s sandwich was around $15, which again for a cafe that serves primarily coffee- is pretty overpriced. Food/Drink: My coffee was absolutely awful. It tasted not even just like milk, but mixed with something rotten. The espresso was not coming through the taste of the almond milk at all. I had to throw out the entire thing. As I was observing the barista, I saw she was shamelessly pouring shots into cups with milk within seconds to just get them done- not crafting the actual drink. My friends coffee was alright, slightly milky and over iced. My parfait was promised lemon curd, and it seemed to be missing. The sandwich was just alright (not $15 worthy, your much better off going to either a real lunch or a deli for much cheaper and yummier food). Presentation/ Atmosphere: Everything looked alright. My coffee was super promising. I think you can only get coffee in one size tho. Also, we took our order to dine in and everyone else seemed to have glass cups- for some reason we received our drinks in plastic cups. The atmosphere was absolutely NOT work friendly. It was super crowded, but kept going down quickly. The issue was the staff kept yelling these phrases at each other which was bothering to us, so I can’t imagine it to someone who is trying to work. All in all, there are so many places that you can go to instead of here. I’d understand the price a little more if my order and service was phenomenal, but they were below expectations. I would so much rather go to somewhere that actually puts care into how they make their drinks for cheaper. Or i’d rather just go get a real breakfast or lunch from a restaurant for the same exact price."
"Love this cafe! Watching the TdF here over the past few weeks has been a complete joy. The food and coffee beverages are great, but the actual coffee selection could be a little better. There are unfortunately no lighter roasted coffees but they more than make up for it great vibes/service."
"Coffee is great, friendly baristas, warm and inviting ambience. Newly opened branch, love seeing how they evolve over time!"
"Popped in for a latte on a Monday afternoon. Was going to go for dulce de leche, but saw that they were offering a seasonal fig & honey syrup, so I opted..."
