"Had such a lovely birthday dinner at My Loup. The food is very unique & rich. The sourdough & butter was honestly so delicious I almost ordered another order to go. The chicken entree was phenomenal. Truly all around tasty food. The service was lovely, especially Nicky who presented each dish with care, enthusiasm and tips on how to best enjoy. It really made the experience so much more engaging and exciting. They graciously gave me a birthday card with everyone signature on it which made me tear up. You can tell everyone just genuinely cares & wants you to have a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy, romantic date night that feels unique & not stuffy at all. I’ll go to bed dreaming of that bread and butter."

"From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and promptly seated. Opting for the Let Us Cook experience turned out to be an excellent decision. Our server, Dan, was exceptionally knowledgeable and guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations. The entire staff, including Dan, was friendly, attentive, and detail-oriented—service was truly impeccable. The food was outstanding. Highlights included the seafood platter, especially the sea urchin and pickled shrimp, which offered a delightful balance of freshness and acidity. The main course, a bone-in pork chop, was cooked to perfection—each bite was rich, tender, and deeply satisfying. The Let Us Cook option gave us a well-curated sampling of dishes, and we left feeling both full and impressed. I wholeheartedly recommend My Loup for its exceptional cuisine and top-tier service. It’s a place where hospitality and culinary artistry come together beautifully."

"This restaurant was amazing and dare I say my favorite place in Philly. Every dish was delicious and our server was very friendly. No notes on the food or service, just book the res! A little side note, sitting by the entrance can get quite cold in this weather, if they have a table, I recommend sitting further inside."

"We first visited in October 2023 and had an incredible experience — everything was spot on. The food and drinks were fantastic, service was top notch. The steak with pumpkin , eel Caesar, and fish crudo were true standouts. Unfortunately, when we returned last night (September 2025), the experience was far from the same. The new menu felt underwhelming, and the overall food quality had declined noticeably. We ordered the tuna tartare appetizer, sungold tomato appetizer, and the Escar-roll to start. For mains, we tried the “à la David” chicken and the skirt steak, followed by the Mille-feuille for dessert. The biggest disappointment was the skirt steak. We weren’t asked how we wanted it cooked, and it arrived nearly raw (blue, not even medium rare). The server didn’t check in until later, and when we explained the issue, the steak was taken back. A few minutes later, the same steak returned, reheated in the same jus. Unfortunately, it was still very rare, overly gamey from the reheating, and extremely chewy — inedible, really. We couldn’t finish the steak and informed the server again, but despite the clear issue, we were still charged the full $70 for the dish and seemed like she didn’t even cared about this issue.(The photo attached shows the steak after it was “recooked.”) On the positive side, the chicken was enjoyable, and both the escargot dish and the dessert were highlights of the evening. Still, given our excitement to revisit after such a stellar first experience in 2023, this return was deeply disappointing. Between the service and the food, we left unsatisfied and, sadly, don’t see ourselves coming back and unfortunately had to update my review from 5 stars to 3."
