"We have been told again and again that Ox is the best coffee in Philly so we have it a try. My resident coffee connoisseur gives it two thumbs up, reporting that “there is no bitterness.” The shop is small and service is “walk up to the window” style, which is fine. There is also an “order ahead” option. Ox also offers a small selection of baked goods, various coffee/espresso drinks, and hot chocolate (also rumored to be “the best”- I’ll let you know...). The service was friendly and efficient but fair warning: the coffee isn’t inexpensive."
