What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Very nice market, conveniently located on second Street in Northern libertys This market not only has some convenient items would it has a lot of healthy options, including produce and a lot of plant-based products and a section on their food menu also has vegetarian and vegan options. I decided to try try two sandwiches a half of each I got the vegan Philly cheesesteak, which was pretty good not great but satisfactory I guess would be the best way to say it 899 is a bargain next time I’ll opt out of ordering the shredded lettuce, shredded lettuce, dilute the flavor of any sandwich really this was my mistake, well, this sandwich did not have a whole lot of flavor for the price not so bad. I also ordered a chicken salad hoagie. Those sandwiches were 899 with the exception of the cheese that I added onto the chicken salad sandwich, which was $1.50 extra I had the same experience with the sandwich because I also again ordered shredded iceberg lettuce. I feel like a knucklehead a little bit not using my brain. I probably should’ve ordered spinach or something else and on the sandwich also while it wasn’t packed full of flavor, the value is there so it was satisfactory. I guess I’m so used to eating at so many vegan places and have so many fantastic sandwiches. I’m a little bit spoiled. Those sandwiches typically are around four dollars more than this, but there are a multitude of flavors involved in the sandwiches that I get and between marination’s, cooking techniques, excellent breads, and the Love that are put into these vegan delicacies that I’m used to, it warrants that extra price tag. I won’t be too critical of what I had as there is good value like I said, and there is a place for this, especially when times are tough these very nice people, that run the store and the gentleman behind the counter helped me navigate through the ordering system, which was a touchpad since this is the first time I was there. And so not to waste the other halves of the sandwiches, I donated the remainder of the untouched halves to a few homeless folks that I see all the time."
"What can I say. This place is an amazing gem. In the world of $20 takeout coffee shop breakfast, I was able to get this amazing bagel and la colombe coffee for $6.32. And the staff is super super sweet. I will definitely be back."
"Place is okay. Better similar markets within walking distance. Prices aren't marked on most items. Lots of things feel overpriced. Whole market feels like they're going for an "upscale" vibe. They get away with it because of the neighborhood unfortunately but walk a few blocks toward spring garden or girard and you get the same things for less. This place is fine if you're right there and need something."
"Best deli in Philadelphia hands-down !!!!! And the nicest staff ever, a real treat to visit every morning."

"I truly love Palm Tree Market! If there was a location closer to my house, I'd probably never go grocery shopping again! As of now, I'll have to settle for..."
