"Cute and quaint sandwich shop in Fairmount! Stopped in for lunch and ordered the Santa Monica (+turkey) on sourdough. The bread was fresh, ingredients were all really tasty and the sandwich was stacked. For $15 I would expect it to be, not a cheap price by any means! The service was a bit cold, I could tell the person taking our order didn’t want to be there. I get it though. It smelled a little odd in the place as well, but luckily it was a 60 degree day so we could sit outside. Overall, I enjoyed the sandwich and outdoor seating availability. I think the price is a bit high but I would still considering coming back!"

"I used to happily spend $150-200/month here. A sandwich a week (they're good), sometimes two, and a coffee and muffin almost every day. Until a few days ago, all of a sudden a "no decaf after noon" policy popped up. So now I spend $0 there. Nice place but watch out for the random new policies."

For the food, my partner opted for a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. He found that the sandwich was mostly carried by the butter. For me, the eggs were over-peppered and lacked enough salt for seasoning. Unfortunately, the rest of the sandwich didn’t have much going for it flavor-wise. The gluten-free options were a bit underwhelming, as the only option they seemed to offer was gluten-free bread, with little variety for those with dietary restrictions. On a positive note, the café is clean, and the service was friendly and attentive. The staff made us feel welcome, which added a nice touch to the visit. However, unless we’re coming back just for the hot chocolate, we’re not sure we’d return."

"I come here all the time, love their breakfast sandwiches. I always get their Santa Monica sandwich when I feel like treating myself & this is the second time this has happened, they forget to add the turkey to the sandwich. Paying $20 for a BLT is a bit much. The gentleman taking the orders never seems like he wants to be there. I always come back because it’s so close to me but I’ll save my money"
