"To start of this is a great location! So close to university city and all the major hospitals are walking distance! Room was very clean and spacious. Service was amazing from front desk to food service to management. Absolutely wowed by the staff- genuinely so accommodating and went out of their way to provide the best service even with hard weather circumstances. Truly appreciated their understanding and grace. Everyone we met were just genuinely nice people. Highly recommend and definitely will be staying again. Want to specifically highlight the restaurant manager Gracyn, she was so skilled at her job, kind, accommodating and truly went above and beyond to make our experience at Co-Op amazing."

"The Study at University City is a solid, stylish hotel right in the heart of University City, perfect if you’re visiting Penn, Drexel, or have a conference nearby. It’s super close to 30th Street Station and an easy walk into Center City, so getting around is a breeze. The lobby feels like a cool, artsy living room — great for hanging out or working, plus there’s free coffee in the morning. Rooms are clean, modern, and quiet, with a comfy bed and a strong shower. Staff at the front desk and valet are friendly and helpful, which really adds to the stay. The on‑site bar/restaurant is decent. Overall, it’s a great choice for a comfortable, low‑stress stay in West Philly — quiet, well‑located, and stylish, and I’d definitely stay here again."

"We have special needs which very few hotels can accommodate. We look for hotels, that are Fragrance free with a no signature scent lobby. This is due to various members of my family that get sick from perfumes and a number of chemicals. We also require Unscented laundry detergent and request the room gets cleaned the with just water and vinegar. The staff is incredibly friendly and very nice. Vivian, the head of housekeeping is wonderful. Camela, who we spoke with on the phone and I was able to meet at the front desk was understanding, kind and helpful with our needs. My family will be going back often since we have family and interests in Philly."

"The location is great. The service was really good. The rooms are clean, nice but lack amenities such as a small refrigerator...may seem picky but we have medication etc that needs to be refrigerated. I didn't think to ask because I cannot remember the last time we had a room without a refrigerator. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel.. comparable to any three star hotel where we've stayed. I don't know how or why it's considered a four-star hotel. We've traveled abroad and fairly extensively. I would definitely consider this a three, maybe 3 and 1/2 star hotel at most.. Also, the TV is so basic and outdated. No real guide...no option for Netflix etc like in most 3-star hotels. The bed is decent but not very comfortable. The shower and water pressure, and body wash is very good. Most hotels miss the mark for women to be able to shave their legs though - as does this hotel. A smell corner bench of some sort would be helpful, and possibly a towel bar/ shower hook. No way is this hotel 4 stars."

"Beautiful hotel! Will definitely stay here again. From the minute we walked into The Study we felt welcome! Everyone who works there is so polite and clearly strives to give top-notch service. Tye hotel is very stylish amd looks exactly like the pictures. It was impeccably clean! The beds were extremely comfortable. A nice perk is they have a coffee bar in the lobby in tue morning. It is situated right steps away from Drexel University and University of Pennsylvania. The hotel itself is very quiet, but since you are in tue middle of the city you will hear some street noise at night."
