What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Love this women-owned business and one of my go-to’s for Vietnamese food in Pittsburgh! The cafe sua (iced Vietnamese coffee) was delicious, just the right amount of condensed milk to not make it too sweet. It had a lot of ice, so would ask for less next time. The chicken pho had a delicious broth, and the mix-ins were already all added in when I got it. Definitely one of the cheaper places to get it so I’m not complaining and it was perfect on a cold day. Service was great, pretty quick and they had a small seating area tucked in the back as well as outside too, but most people get it to go. Their bahn mi is also delicious, and definitely worth a try too!"
"I love Vietnamese food, and I love banh mi, so it made sense for me to try this place out. You place your order at the counter, and then wait for your order to be prepared and then take out. There is a bunch of seating outdoors, but it can get pretty hot in the summer to be sitting outside, and I mostly saw people do takeaway. I got the signature sandwich and some shrimp summer rolls. The summer rolls were great. They were fresh, and the sauce was very umami and packed a lot of flavour. The sandwich was pretty good as well. The patty and the meat both seemed fresh and complimented with the pickled carrots. I just wish there was a little more herbs in the sandwich, like a little more cilantro and mint. Although the food was quite good, I found the prices to be a little bit on the higher side, specially for a place without any service."
"I am using Google maps a lot to decide in which restaurant I am having my dinner. To be honest I did not understand why this restaurant has a really high rating. This is an ordinary restaurant that you find what you paid for nothing more. Tastes are just alright, the prices are reasonable."
"phenomenal banh mi’s and rice bowls. i wish they had thai tea but their bubble tea is not bad. my favorite banh mi in the city."
"The first time here and went with all the recommendations. The bahn mi was delicious (could have had more protein, but that's no issue). The spring rolls were fresh and light. The vietnamese coffee was very strong(which I loved), going to come back here to try their bowls and Boba next time."
