"My sister in law and I stopped here for some pre Christmas relaxing time! It was all so good! She is vegan and so we both got a vegan chocolate chip pumpkin muffin! (One of the best muffins I have ever had) We also got breakfast sandwiches and a latte! I got mine as a cookie butter latte but Christmas style for extra cuteness and aesthetics! How cute?! The staff was so friendly and patient! 100% will be stopping anytime I’m in the area!"

The coffee is, without exaggeration, exceptional. Their latte is a must-try--it's silky, full-bodied, and truly scrumptious. Beyond the drinks, the food offerings are outstanding. For a savory start, I highly recommend their mushroom breakfast sandwich. Adding to the atmosphere, the shop is decorated with lots of cute and interesting merchandise, plus a delicious array of pastries to choose from. Best of all, the staff are amazing and super friendly, always willing to explain any of their offerings. De Fer is definitely a regular stop of mine and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly unique and friendly coffee experience in the city."

"Staff was friendly & patient - location / atmosphere is nice and I loved their chia pudding. I could also tell their espresso is wonderful, but unfortunately the milk texture of my latte was not great - that, and it was far above scalding hot. I think y’all didn’t think I would notice on milk since I took my latte to go, but overall I think this is a nice shop and I’m glad I stopped in!"
