"What a great cortado! ☕ Hey y'all, Amano's in Squirrel Hill. Ty for 396K views! Was running errands and sought a cure for my 11am caffeine needs. Espresso Amano's second location is wide, spacious, and welcoming. I got myself a Cortado in a heavy, thick walled tumbler that was great. Half milk, half espresso awards you full wakefulness. If you'd like to find a place to have an unrushed conversation, get a window seat. If you got books, there's tables in the back. That's where I sat. Pastries look great. I've been to this place since they opened in Lawrenceville a few years ago. They're consistently excellent. ✨ Btw, if you have a sensitive stomach, I feel like they're using Latin American coffees. I got a triple. Normally I can put down three of these a day, but I had to skip one. They're expanding the window counter to a wall wraparound, so there's a little construction here and there. "Went in for espresso and found a bakery that was worth the wait. I got a cortado with oat milk. It was very good. We bought a couple sandwiches, a baguette, a few baked treats, and a chocolate pecan pie. We may have gone a bit overboard but it was definitely worth it. The baguette had a crispy crust and was soft, airy, and chewy on the inside, perfect. The croissants were flaky and just delicious. Highly recommended."
