"This is a gem on Liberty Ave. The restaurant atmosphere and service is excellent. These were some of the best cocktails we have had in Pittsburgh and the food was very good. We started with the shrimp tempura, which was very lightly breaded yet crisp with tender shrimp inside - excellent. I ordered the filet and it was cooked perfectly and came with a loaded baked potato and mixed vegetables. The only criticism I have is the potato was probably cooked in batches and it was a bit dry. My wife had a salad with salmon and she was pleased. The owner stopped by to check on us and we had a nice conversation. I highly recommend a visit."

"I love G's! They've extended their half price wine options which is great, their service is always so kind, personal, and wonderful, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend G's for a good night out. // I've been driving and walking past G's for the past year and wondering what's been going on inside. It's a super nondescript building, but once you go inside, you'll find a really lovely spacious bar and a lovely back dining room that is a nice respite from the hot weather. G's has an extensive wine list, and a list of half off some bottles on Tuesdays, which was great! We loved the bottle that we got. The service was amazing, incredibly attentive and prompt. We got the mushroom tart, which was so light and well balanced, I was in love. I got the scallops dish and my partner got the boullabaise. The scallops had a little bit of mint in it which just gave the dish an amazing twist, scallops cooked perfectly, portion size was perfect. The boullabaise's shrimp was also perfectly cooked and the flavor was incredible. We finished off the meal with the creme brulee which was just amazing, the chocolate ganache at the bottom really is lovely. I can't believe I haven't tried harder to get here, and I look forward to coming back over and over to this wonderful neighborhood restaurant."

"Stopped in with the Mrs on a Friday evening and to our surprise there was live music so we stayed in the bar area for dinner. Fantastic food and cocktails, very large portions. The two bartenders/servers we had are absolute gems and the banter between them and those sitting at the bar will bring us back again, hopefully with an open bar seat!"

"We had dinner and the food was very good, great variety of dishes. The portions were generous, and the flavors were creative (Turkey meatballs with cranberries!) They have lots of gin cocktails, which are my favorite. We couldn’t fit dessert, but they had a pecan ball which makes me so happy as a Pittsburgher. We will be back!"
