"Honestly such a cool place. A little on the expensive side, but a unique menu for Pittsburgh. This was my first time having anything matcha related, so I’m certainly no expert, but I enjoyed both items I got from here. I got the house latte and matcha ice cream. The matcha ice cream you can get in levels, with varying amounts of caffeine and intensity. I just tried a level one, and it was still really tasty. Creamy ice cream, not overpowering but present matcha flavor. Really good, and a great portion. The house latte was also great. It had condensed milk for sweetness and whole milk for the creaminess. Was very solid although again, a bit pricey. If I go next time, I’ll get another one of their more unique drinks like something with sesame or some of that soft serve."

"Really enjoyed the parfait here, with a lot of great layers of red bean, jelly, cream, plus the cake and crushed ice cream cones really brought great texture! Sadly they are changing their weekend special from stronger matcha to coconut and Thai iced tea. The flavors were good, but definitely not as strong as I would have liked. Personally I’ll stick to the matcha soft serve, but still one the best spots around for any matcha treat!"

"Meccha Matcha located on Murray Avenue is truly a Matcha experience for everyone.  Whether you are new to matcha, like me, first timer!!! Or a seasoned matcha connoisseur, Meccha Matcha has something for everyone.  Their products range from ice cream, soft serve, lattes, teas and ice blends.  You can order any product with “level” 1-3.  The higher level the more potent and intense the matcha will be, but also the higher the caffeine will be.  I love this concept so you can get used to the flavor and introduce more to your pallet! All their matcha is sources from Japan and 100% pure.  The staff is amazing and so patient and friendly, especially for me as a newbie!  I tried the Ube ice cream, matcha cookie, Ube cookie, & matcha biscoff latte!"

"Best place in Pittsburgh to satisfy your matcha craving. This place does not skimp out on matcha. We tried both the soft serve and ice cream (level 2,3) and it was pretty strong even for us who regularly enjoy matcha flavored snacks. Also for high quality matcha, the price is also reasonable ($7-10 per person). The level2-3 soft serve is only available on weekends. There is a matcha shaved ice that seems to be popular here, which is a bowl of shaved matcha ice with matcha icecream and redbean paste. People share this for $15, which seems like a great option for the summer. This may be our new favorite dessert place for the summer."
