"Noodlehead is a must-visit every single time we are in Pittsburgh! We’ve been coming here for over 6 years now, and it never disappoints. A few reasons why we keep coming back: The Starters: The Spring Rolls are always perfectly cooked and incredibly crunchy—the dipping sauce is the perfect pairing. We also highly recommend the Curry Puffs; they are consistently delicious. The Mains: Whether it’s the Curries, Pad Thai, or their other noodle dishes, we’ve tried almost everything on the menu over the years, and it’s all fantastic. The Heat: I love that the spice level is fully customizable. Be warned: the higher end of the scale is legit and gets very spicy! Pro Tip: They now accept credit cards! This is a great update, as they used to be cash-only. Even after all these years, it remains one of our favorite spots in the city. Fast, flavorful, and reliable!"

"This is one of the busiest restaurants during dinnertime, and the waitlist can be as long as an hour. You must wait until your whole group arrives before you can be seated. They have authentic Thai noodle dishes, and I especially love the Love Boat menu, the flavor reminded me of what I had in Thailand. The Sukhothai noodles are also very good. The Love Boat dish has a saltier flavor, while the Sukhothai dish is more sour. The fried chicken is quite good too. Although it was a dry on my last visit, I still recommend trying it. My friends often order the Khao Soi and Pad See Ew, and they always enjoy them. For the Khao Soi, I recommend ordering it without bean sprouts, since authentic versions of the dish don’t usually have them."

"Love that you can tell them how spicy you want your food from 0 to 5. The Street noodle was really nice, you could taste the lime and chicken was so crispy and tender. Also the Thai boba tea was one of the best I’ve ever had."

"Thai Excursions in Pittsburgh led me to one of the most reliable places for food in the city. Noodlehead is a slight spin on what you would expect from a traditional Thai place, and yet mostly everything was executed well (few caveats though) Starting with the appetizers, the fried dumplings were a 10/10. No complaints there. The sauce compliments the dumplings well but was excellent without it. The Chive Cakes weren’t my favorite but that’s less on them, more on me about preference in taste. It has a unique soft texture which would go over well with anyone who likes that acquired taste. Thai Milk Tea was a 10/10 as well. Far better than some I’ve had at other Thai places. I think I finished it before the main entree. Now, I got the street noodles #1 on waiters recommendation. I thought it was pretty solid but felt like something was missing. Fundamentally, it’s a great tasting plate but maybe I was waiting for the flavor explosion and I didn’t quite get that. That wouldn’t turn me away from getting it again, but I would have to manage my expectations. All in all, solid place to eat. Excellent and friendly service with a nice and welcoming vibe. Noodlehead will be seeing me again."
