from Google"We went for the first time for restaurant week and it was a fabulous experience! Palm Palm is so beautifully decorated and chic, making for the perfect dining atmosphere. Our waiter (shoutout Albie!) was attentive, friendly and on top of everything. The food was delicious! I didn’t really know what to expect because the menu is kind of hard to describe, but every dish ended up being flavorful and very enjoyable. The crème brûlée was possibly the best I’ve ever had…"
"I LOVE this place! Today was my first visit and we had brunch. We made reservations and did not have to wait. It was a party of 4 adults and a toddler. The food was amazing and service was perfect. We had chicken and waffles, breakfast sandwiches, bananas foster waffles, crab Benedict, the special Turkish eggs and candied pepper bacon. We had an issue but management fixed it and our server took us on a tour of kitchen and special rooms. I highly recommend it and feel you should try it."
"I stopped here for a Saturday brunch and it was delicious. The atmosphere was like a baha vacation vibe. The prices were very fair and the portions were large. I got a coffee and it was good. My only complaint with the coffee is the saucer because it made me spill my hot coffee every where. I got the Hawaiian stuffed french toast and it was very good. The pastry cream was a nice touch. When we arrived there were barely any people in the restaurant. We got sat very closely to another table, making it hard to leave at the end. The employees were friendly and professional. I am excited to go back and try something else."
"Palm Palm is one of the best dining spots I’ve been to in Pittsburgh. The atmosphere is cozy but stylish, the kind of place that makes you feel special. The staff is friendly and on top of everything. Courses come out at the perfect pace, and they make you feel well taken care of the whole time. The food is fantastic. The meatballs are tender and full of flavor, and the truffle spaghetti O’s are such a fun twist that taste incredible. The Parmesan-crusted steak was cooked just right, with a great crust and lots of flavor. The cocktails are creative and really well balanced — you can tell they put some thought into them. I also love how the small plates are spaced out so you can really enjoy each one without feeling rushed. For the quality and experience, the prices feel very fair. Palm Palm is a spot I’d happily come back to, whether for a nice date night or a place to bring the whole family."
"This place is getting a lot of hype right now, but I do think there is room for improvement. First off, this place is an entire vibe - super Instagram-worthy with the interior design and tons of natural lighting. For that alone, it’s worth trying one of their delicious and unique cocktails. Our server was attentive and made sure to keep our drinks filled. We had to ask for silverware initially, but then it was replaced as we worked through our dishes. The pacing of the meal was a little off - small plates came out 1 or 2 at a time, but then also with our large plate, which eventually got cold as we were still working on the small plates. Overall, the food was delicious and quite creative. We really enjoyed the mini lobster rolls, sushi tots, and truffled spaghetti-o’s. The carrots were overcooked but still flavorful. The brussel sprouts were roasted perfectly, but unfortunately some of the stalk was left on the ends of a few (ouch). Didn’t get the chance to try dessert, because we were decently full after our meal. Hopefully they can improve their quality control, and balance the food with the aesthetic."
