What People Are Saying

from Google

"While I think some people will like this place, I find this place to be expensive, flavorless coffee in a creaky awkward space. First, the baristas have been always friendly and nice. Genuinely. Good people at the counter. The coffee however is just watery and flavorless, which some may like, but it’s just not my style. It’s like Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, just 3x as expensive. They do have darker or more flavorful options, but you have to get it as a pour over, which means after tip you are paying $10 for a cup of coffee. Just no. The inside, again which some may like, just feels awkward to me, a little stifling. Like a creaky house, old woods. It’s often very quiet. I’ve never actually seen anyone even drinking inside. The location however is convenient. Right by the park. Can get a cup and walk over. That’s nice Overall, perhaps for some, this place is nice, if the older wood feel is your thing- and you like extremely light watery coffee - And don’t mind the cost premium. It’s just not for me."

"Good selection of coffee and tea, and vegan pastries! Very friendly service as well. They have a window for quick orders outdoors, as well as an indoor counter. Plentiful seating and it seems like a quiet place to get some work done. I had a chocolate chip tahini cookie and a dirty masala chai latte with oat milk; both were delicious! There’s retail stock of various teas and coffee beans as well. Will definitely be back!"

"I was in the area and searched quickly for a coffee near me and this place popped up. I’m so glad it did! It was such a cute, unique space and the coffee was delicious. The barista was super friendly and my orange mocha was excellent. I’m always hesitant to try flavored lattes because I hate super sweet, syrupy coffee but this one was perfect. It was flavorful without being syrupy. With oat milk it was around $8 and while I do agree that’s pricier than I’d like to pay for coffee, it’s definitely very on par with all of the other coffee shops I go to."

"Today is a five star day at Rockin’ Cat. Even with cold outside, the light came washing through the sunroom windows. Sun sure felt good with a delicious flat white."

★★★★★

"Personally, beyond friendly staff, lots of space and really good coffee. The only reason I will hesitate to go back is that my 16 oz latte was $8. Seemed a little too expensive for me. Also, I would like to do work at this coffee shop, but there wasn't any background noise/music playing so it felt a bit awkward to do so."
