"Katie and the visitor center are two of the biggest gems in Pittsburgh. Katie worked hard behind the scenes the whole wedding to make sure our reception was perfect. We had closer to 120 people (the max for a seated dinner under the tent) and she never made me feel like a bother to my many questions to make sure everyone (and everything) would fit. One thing that really made me feel at ease was she always responded to emails and questions in under 24 hours, a rare thing in the bridal industry! If you’re a bride that wants an outdoor, but is too afraid to commit in case of bad weather, the visitor center is the spot for you. We enjoyed the fresh September air during dinner under the tent and had amazing air flow from being able to open doors and windows inside for dancing. It’s an intimate space that makes it easier to connect with all of our guests. The visitor center will always hold a special place in our heart!"

"The trail we hiked was 1.9 miles long and took about an hour to complete. We began at the lower trail and eventually reached the upper trail, which was truly beautiful. The path, surrounded by trees on both sides, was a mix of dirt and rocks with stunning natural scenery. I posted some photos and videos of our experience. I highly recommend this trail; it felt like a pleasant walk around a small hill, and we thoroughly enjoyed it."

"Although the cafe's fare is limited and unremarkable, this is still a nice location to stop by if visiting the park or just for a Cafe experience different than usual. The interior is large and open, with windows on all sides letting in ample natural light. The design is calming and earthy, complimenting the beautiful surrounding forests. The hours are limited though, so make sure it is open before you plan on stopping by."

"Definitely my favorite, the best CMU coffee shop you didn’t know about! Super nice staff, great treats and drinks at fair price (fizzy drink and danish for $6), spacious indoors and a beautiful terrace at level with tree crowns. Free wifi, clean bathrooms. I’ll be back!"

"Had my bridal shower here and it was truly amazing! Katie was SO helpful AND accommodating the whole time! I also love that all rental fees go towards the up-keeping of the park! Absolutely recommend 🥰"
