"Went to try this place with my friends for a little afternoon snack and coffee. We all agreed it’s such a nice spot to share a short break and enjoy something delicious. The two coffees we tried were amazing — my friend had the hot pistachio latte and I had the hot lotus latte, both 10/10! The honeycomb pastry is definitely something I’d come back for — such a delicious treat! I had never tried it before, but it’s the perfect combo for a cozy coffee afternoon. The coffee shop has a great atmosphere too — perfect if you want to get some work done or just relax. It’s nice, spacious, and quiet."

"How have I been missing this place?! I pass it all the time, but today I popped in looking for just a basic cup of coffee. From the very start I was pleasantly surprised by how great the service was - the young woman at the counter asked if I wanted a regular drip coffee or one of the ones on the menu. Funny I hadn’t considered the menu but I’m glad I did. She recommended the Shibam. It was slightly spicy and full of great flavor. Once I had my coffee in hand, I had a chance to check out the place - very stylish and comfortable. For sure I’ll be back - maybe for a pastry too!"

"Modern Middle Eastern coffee shop with a variety of coffee and tea drinks, and pastries. A variety of milk cakes looked particularly good. Service was super friendly but a bit slow. Unfortunately, they got my coffee drink wrong. It was still good but not the same without milk. Note that you will find grinds in the bottom of your cup – this is how the coffee is traditionally served."

"An aesthetic-first coffee/desserts chain with open seating and fairly average food and drink, despite the Yemeni and Turkish ‘twist’ The general aesthetic hits strong when you enter and that’s the point. This place is designed to look good on Instagram first and foremost. Bright. Clean. Sharp. bold. Not quite sterile but kinda approaching that. I don’t mind it, but it’s clear goal number one for this place was the look, with food and drink coming in second. The food and drink have this Yemeni or probably just Arabic in general plus Turkish twist. I think it’s a bit of marketing pizazz more than anything. The coffee and drinks taste similar to plain normal cheaper coffee, just with a couple added spices. It’s fine and nice but not blow your mind or some exceptional experience. The cake also tasted kinda like a frozen grocery store cake, which didn’t help. Pricing was medium - not great not horrible. $25 for two drinks and coffee incl tip. Overall this is a 3 star food place, it’s average, and maybe a 4.2 for the larger contrived experience. I’d enjoy going here again despite the lack of wow w the drink and food itself."
