"Fantastic vegan food with amazing flavor. We tried the vegan cheese steak (cheezesteak) with fries and a side of mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce. Everything was delicious and the people at Clean Plates were very friendly. Portion sizes were good and the pricing is very fair for the quality of food."

"We were in Reading for a concert at Santander Arena and were excited to find an all vegan place right up the street. We quickly checked in and hot footed up the street. It's located inside a food court in a repurposed old bank building. We tried the 6 piece "chicken" tenders and fries and the falafel Pita with sweet potato fries. I originally wanted the Spinach Coconut Chickpea Curry and the owner/chef felt badly because there wasn't enough left. She threw in the "small" amount (which was actually quite a bit) free of charge. Since we were getting up early and heading back home, we took two breakfast burritos to go. It took us 3 days to eat them as neither of us could get through more than a third of it at any point. The portion sizes are HUGE and everything is very well priced! P.S. We also got two of the cold pressed juices which were a delightful refreshing treat!"

"In Reading for business and needed a place to grab breakfast and a spot to work. Stumbled into the half-occupied food court and was pleasantly surprised to find a juice spot inside! Got the avocado toast which was fresh & tasty and go t the Full Body juice which was a really good juice concoction. Love that they added a bit of kick to it! Would recommend people living here or passing through to check out Clean Plates in the growing food hall space in downtown Reading."

"Love the owner, always nice but.. Not consistent. Everytime I try to get food from here, it’s either closed or they’re about to close. Food is good. Pricey, but for vegan 🌱 it’s fair. Just wish they actually were open for their hours."
