What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Friendly service and decent food, but the place is absolutely dead and has a weird office-like environment. Not as cosy as the name or food implies. Talked with one of the staff and it doesn't seem like this location is long for this world, despite decades in the community. It never recovered from Covid and never pivoted. It's a shame."
"Brought back fond memories of Puerto Rico eating some really good mofongo and pernil. And the coffee was good too. Service was warm and welcoming."
"Tried their Beef & Cheese Empanada and the Chicken Empanada. Beef & Cheese was the clear winner. Juicy and flavorful with no need for the hot sauce. Generous amount of filling. The crust or tapa was excellent. The Chicken was a little dryer and not as flavorful but still good with the (mild) hot sauce. I’ll definitely be back for the Beef & Cheese."
"I couldn't express my love for this local favorite any more. The traditional latin food combined with a warm cafe vibe is wonderful. The walls were displayed with art from local artists and children supporting the community. The food came out quickly, hot, fresh and delicious. The portion sizes were well worth the price- which is another wonderful point. The price is excellent for anyone on a budget. If you haven't tried this place yet, get there and get un plato!"
"Very welcoming staff - we decided to eat outside since it was a beautiful day. We had a traditional Dominican dish called “Mangu” it was a bit different than what we are used to being from NY (bronx, Wash.Heights) however it was Delicious! We will definitely be coming back to try out the rest of the menu!"
