"I'm from Brooklyn/long Island NY. Finding anything close to what I'm used to in south central Pennsylvania is impossible excepting Russo gourmet foods. I drove from Hershey on the advice of a long time Italian Hershey resident. I was not disappointed. Don't get me wrong. It's not NY style but it had a lot of things I could not find anywhere else. It was a great experience. Lots of Italian stuff I love. Homemade and imported. They also have a great selection of beer. I would recommend"

"I traveled a long distance to go here. This place went downhill big time! The ham on my hoagie was slimy and on the verge of going bad. All the meats were sliced too thick. The roll was not fresh and fell apart. The staff was rude and acted like you were bothering them especially the young man and the older woman behind the deli counter. The lady at the hot food and panini counter seemed nice but out of place with the rest of the miserable staff. I won’t be bothering them again! I recommend Asante in Allentown or DiCaras Deli in Reading."

"Russo's has a fantastic selection of fresh Italian foods, breads, oils, meats, cheeses, and pastries. They have freshly prepared food you can eat there or take home for dinner. They have a salad bar and a cold bar with pasta salads, stuffed olives, and lots of other delicious treats. Everything you would expect to find at an authentic Italian market."

"2025: Look at that salad bar! Look at the hot foods & the olive bar! That's just the beginning! All of this and a top notch Italian grocery store too! They even have seating to eat. This is a must stop at in Berks county!! 2023: I've never had any issues with Russo. Everything is always lovely, top notch! Today I asked how much the large specialty pizzas are. She pointed at pizzas in the case. The highest was $25. She said if you only want 1 or 2 things on it its it's cheaper. I opted for 2 items. Turned out to be $32. The increase in price can't be attributed to the kind if items bc one of the pies had these plus more and that was $25. IDK if there was a language barrior. But I think I won't be able to buy this again! That being said. In the store, the cheese selection is tasty & varied. We buy frozen breaded eggplant planks, the BEST fresh sausages, olive bar & salad bar, (pre packaged do to covid) and various frozen veggies. Its a good place to stop in and get lunch and pick up some Italian speciality items. Pizza IS wonderful, just make sure you know how much it is!"
