"When I first moved to Rhode Island, Beans & Buns was one of those rare places that made the state feel like home. The staff are down to earth and make an effort to get to know their regular customers. Their drinks and sandwiches are worth the slightly higher price point because they are very intentional with each menu item. I highly recommend the SEAT sandwich (Sausage, Egg, Arugala, Tomato); the dijonaise is delicious and the bread is toasted evenly every time. The Bun sandwich is the perfect bite in the morning: bacon, apple, brie, and brioche. Also, the Turkey Avocado sandwich makes an excellent lunch. They always have a rotation of seasonal offerings from baked goods to beverages. They keep things simple but their focus on quality is undeniable. In case it wasn't already obvious...I LOVE BEANS + BUNS"

"Absolutely loved this spot! The cinnamon bun was incredible. The baklava matcha was nutty and tasty. I wasn’t expecting to love the matcha so much here, the cafe has a lot of creative flavors I will be back to try!"

"Great vibes, comfortable yet limited seating, and the food itself was fine. The downside was the very long wait and the fact that prices weren’t displayed. I was surprised when the bagel lox cost $15 plus tax — it just felt too steep for what it was. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I’d recommend asking for prices before ordering."

"I’m on a mission to find the best cinnamon bun around and so far the one here is my number one! It was flakey and delicious all the way from the outer edge to the perfect center. Usually I discard the outer edges but not this one! There was a hint of maple or honey and it was absolute perfection. The ice coffee I got was delicious too, I think it was called “the bun” and had a cinnamon maple flavor to it. It’s kind of dangerous that this place is walking distance from my house but hopefully I’ll be able to walk the buns off! I will definitely be frequenting this place more often!"

"Maybe the best sweet scone I’ve had? The poppy strawberry was phenomenal (no pics because we ate it so quickly 🤣) and I’m a true scone skeptic. Very cute inside, less cute back patio but appreciate the extra space. Delicious breakfast sandwich as well. Will certainly be back!"
