I pray for everyone a blessed, happy, and healthy New Year 2026. “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24). On December 30, a little cold/flu decided to visit me without invitation. It started with back pain, and fast-forward to January 1, 2026, I found myself going to CVS for cold medicine and milk—because when you are sick, milk suddenly feels very important. After that, I decided to stop by WinOrama. I ordered two pancakes and one piece of ham to go. I wanted pancakes, but not too many—wisdom comes when you know you won’t finish the plate. My husband already ate, so he was not joining this adventure. “Give us this day our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11), even if that bread comes in pancake form. At CVs I met a helpful Kym! Who made me feel better when I told to SA rise her hands by saying “don’t worry I was sick two weeks ago “ At Weinorama and as I waited—wearing a mask and feeling half in had out —I looked around. The renovations look nice, but they still kept that 1960s feeling, which honestly felt comforting, like time slowed down with me. Jayden took my order, and like any sick person, I stared at the cook making pancakes with no thoughts at all—just one thought repeating: “I want to go home, eat, and sleep.” “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). What made me laugh was that the people coming out of the kitchen were Spanish speakers, so in my mind I said, “Okay, this food must be good.” Faith and observation working together. Finally, I paid and left. By then, the beautiful snow Jesus sent had stopped, and the sun came out very strong. Honestly, I didn’t want to deal with the sun in my eyes my visions was sensitive—-I just wanted overcast skies . But it was still beautiful, like God saying, “I’ve got you.” At home, I opened my meal and ate my pancakes and ham. Everything was good. I was glad they were open—otherwise, I would have had to drive farther, and I really didn’t want to. It was easy in and out, just how sick people like it. A beautiful snowy day, playing Let It Snow! in my head. I’m glad I got to see the renovations, and it’s definitely still a cool place—especially when all you need is pancakes, rest, and a little grace from God. ❄️🙏🥞"
"Had lunch at the newly reopened Wein-O-Rama yeaterday and was not dissapointed. The place was packed, and we had to wait about 10 minutes for a seat. The interior has been renovated with new booths and counter seating. Once seated we were promptly greeted by a delightfully pleasant server. I ordered the traditional 3 wieners all the way, small fries (cooked crispy) and coffee milk. It didn’t take long for the food to arrive. The fries were cooked to perfection and the wieners were delicious. The coffee milk was the perfect finish to the meal, cold and tasty. This establishment has been around since I was a child, and wieners were 15¢ each! Though the price has risen, the quality and taste of the food is as good as it ever was. Also you may bump into a Rhode Island celebraty sitting down for a bite.Gene Valicenti was dining there when we went, and he was gracious and cordial to all who stopped to say "Hi!" That said, I was disappointed to see he didn't order 3 all the way...LOL! I highly recommend visiting Wien-O-Rama at your earliest convenience."
"This place is by far the best “hot Weiner” place in the area. Rachel was awesome to deal with and super friendly. I highly recommend coming here places like this just are few and far between."
"Best weiners I've had. I will definitely go back. The temp was very warm the day we went. The sliding window for takeout was more than likely the reason. They do have a/c, but we didn't feel it much due to that. Eating inside might be an issue if you're sensitive to the heat. Otherwise, we loved it. Thanks for the good food!!!"
"Just opened in May 2025 under new owners. Typical cafe with counter seating and 8 booths. No outdoor seating at this time. Smallish menu but all the traditional. No eggs Benedict. Does have clam chowder and a soup of the day in the lunch menu. Also ice cream sundae and some milk shakes. The weinorama was quite good, eggs, potatoes and bacon were cooked properly. The toast was cold and did not melt the butter. And the serving size was on the small size. Other cafes in the area serve larger pancakes and more potatoes, but to be fair they also charge a little more."
