"I spent a wonderful evening at Bar 12 with my parents and my partner, and we had the honor to sit at the bar and be served by Scout. What an amazing bar tender! Not only is she friendly, Scout is very a knowledgeable and skilled bartender. My group was open to cocktails so instead of ordering directly from the menu, we told Scout what we liked and didn’t like and they led each of us toward our perfect cocktail. The drinks were beautifully crafted and delicious. We look forward to visiting Newport again just to grab a drink from Scout!"

"My husband and I stopped in Bar 12 to enjoy pre dinner drinks during our recent stay in Newport. Bar 12 is a small and intimate setting. It definitely is best for small groups due to limited seating. The menu is great and offers unique cocktails, in addition to beer and wine, for guests with differing palettes. We had 4 different cocktails and enjoyed all of them equally. Although we didn't have any food, the menu looked appetizing. Darwin was a gracious bartender despite the busy crowd. We will definitely return during our next trip! Highly recommend."
