"Picnic Cafe is a hidden gem in Newport with so much to offer! From a wide variety of coffees and refreshing drinks to an impressive selection of croissants, cakes, sandwiches, salads, rolls, and burgers—there’s something for everyone. We ordered a croissant with oat milk coffee, the chocolate and almond croissant, and a slice of strawberry cake. Everything was absolutely perfect—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Truly one of the best cafés we’ve visited. Highly recommended for a cozy and delicious stop!"
"They have sandwiches, salads, coffee, pastries, etc and the food is fantastic. They have a variety of hot and iced teas which is harder to find these days. They also over picnics and food for your boat outing. Sophie helped us and the service was excellent."
"Loved everything that entered my mouth in this place. Blackened salmon and turkey sandwiches were both incredible, although both sandwiches I tried were pretty messy (complimentary). The dirty chai was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet. The fruit tart pastry was top tier as well. Perfect cute lunch/coffee shop vibe, but don’t go here to work on your laptop because that’s not what this place is about. Loved my experience and food here all around."
"Cozy place to take a break. The almond pastries were the best. Also tried the raspberry latte and it was amazing."
"What a cute and quaint shop. Great coffee and breakfast items. A little pricey but it's Newport. Cute idea to prepare picnic lunches."
