"Wallys Weiners in Wallys Weiners is a fun casual stop that does not take itself too seriously. Parking was easy which already puts it in a good spot for Newport. The inside is small but lively with a bar area that serves beer on tap which makes it feel more like a hangout than just a quick food stop. They also sell a bunch of funny shirts sweaters and hats that match the playful vibe. They are definitely entertaining to look at but the prices might make you laugh and then slowly put them back on the rack. Still fun to browse while you wait for your food. The staff were friendly and upbeat which made the experience better. The hot dogs themselves were good but could have been served a little warmer. Flavor was there but temperature mattered. The real winners were the smash burger and the fried pickles which were easily the best choices and the ones I would order again without hesitation. Overall Wallys Weiners is a good time with friendly staff fun atmosphere and solid food if you order smart. Go for the smash burger grab a beer and enjoy the vibe even if you skip the merch."

"Wally’s Wieners is a good spot if you’re hanging out in Newport and don’t want to wait or spend a fortune on a tiny lunch. Most of the restaurants in this area are pretty fancy and way too expensive or have long wait time for just a quick meal. At Wally’s Wieners the service is pretty fast. I was starving and didn't want to sit through a long, formal dinner, and they had my food out in no time. It is the kind of spot where you can grab your order and get back to walking around without waiting forever. For the price, you really can’t beat it. The hot dogs are solid and they have some cool toppings, plus the smash burger is pretty good too. Unfortunately only option is American cheese for the burger. It’s hard to find a cheap meal in this part of town that actually tastes good, but they definitely pull it off. The staff seemed cool and the whole vibe is very laid back and casual. They also have a bar inside. I noticed they serve beer and some cocktails. In season they might be a lot busier and wait time might be too long. December 23th is the day of my visit. If you’re tired of overpaying for food just because you’re in a touristy area, just go here. It’s simple, delicious, cheap, and way faster than anything else nearby."

"Trash service. Never been more embarrassed. Two of us went to this place on our short lunch break for a dog n a burger. We walked in around 12:10pm and ordered. There is about 8 bar seats and 4 tables available. We sat at one table and another couple walked in behind us and took another, leaving 2 whole table and bar stools still open. Our food came out relatively quick and we figured we would eat the dogs and take the burger for the road. THIS CLOWN told us to leave because we “didn’t specify we were dining in” so we basically are kicked out after paying $38 for 2 dogs 2 burger and 2 drinks, all bet we didn’t specify our exact plan?! For reference it’s 24 degrees outside today. I’ve never received worse service in my life especially with an EMPTY restaurant because I didn’t declare I was eating a single hot dog before leaving. Unreal. Will tell everyone including my entire crew of 40+ who will be here thru out the summer to never eat here. Unbelievable. Do better."

"We discovered this place through a recommendation, and it ended up being the highlight of our trip. The pancakes are absolutely the best, the menu is outstanding, and the service is unmatched. Ramon and Kat made our mornings in Newport unforgettable with their warmth, attention, and thoughtful local recommendations, going as far as helping us plan our next stop in New York. And the cooks are outstanding!! An exceptional experience and easily the best spot in town."

"So I heard they have gluten free bread ! So excited, I haven't had a wiener in ages . Parking sucks but it's okay I havent had a wiener in about 8 years (allergy to the bread) so I'm good it's worth it . Order 2 Rhody wieners to go $19.30 (ouch a bit steep for 2 weiners ) but okay I'm going to enjoy some delicious wieners Right?!. Give a $20 bill , cashier takes $20 doesn't even attempted to give me any change. I've now paid $20 for 2 weiners. It's okay though because I'm going to have 2 awesome wieners right ? NO , not even close to right. I got stale tasting bread with a wiener that well didn't taste like a real weiner that I was used to ( NY Systems) all the "toppings" were in the bun not on top (nothing like the photos they advertise ) it was so underwhelming the Meat and wiener were not good and the bread as well but I'll give a break on that because Gluten free bread can be tough . Didn't even eat the 2nd one 😕"
