"sooo disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan because I saw good reviews & I'm a huge fan. Sauce tasted good on the pasta but as I tried to cut into the chicken it was absurdly tough. tasted it & it tasted either over cooked, rubbery,& or old. Sad because the portion size was good. Wife came home and asked what the smell was. told her I had to throw out my dinner & she said it smelt like old frying oil. Will not likely order from here again. Unfortunate"

"My wife is from Providence but we live in Connecticut and visit regularly. We always try to stop at Angelo's for the calimari and a quick bite before heading home. Sometimes we bring family and always have a great meal and a lot of fun. Yesterday we decided to meet an old friend there bc we had been telling him how great the place is and he never had been there even though he lives in the area. That's when this goes down hill. The food came out pretty fast although I did ask the waiter for extra napkins which never arrived. I had my favorite, the braciole over pasta which I always ask for some kicked up hot cherry peppers in the sauce which they did well but there was too much salt. My wife had the pasta al la gricia. It was on a bed of pepper but way too much pepper. It was dry and way over salted with a few specs of guanciale. She is sorry she didn't say anything about it to the server. I am sorry I didn't say anything either so I am just chalking it up to one bad meal out of a hundred plus."

"Great place. Service excellent, with 3 people delivering food so it's hot for everyone. Food delicious, service fast, but not at all rushed. Parking was the best; attendant fast, friendly, helpful. Best part is my 90 year old dad who went to Providence once a week for years to do business was able to get back there and enjoy. Talk about making someone's day! You won't be disappointed if you go, and especially if you order off the specials menu-what a deal."
