"I have to say this place did not disappoint!! The Calamari and Shrimp appetizer was cooked to perfection. The Seafood Risotto and Potato Scaled Flounder were so tasty. The Pot of Mousse and Creme Brulee were a perfect way to end dinner...absolutely delicious!! Our server TJ was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning to Cafe Nuevo."

"Beautiful location. Right on the river. Quality food, staff was welcoming professional and courteous. Food was delicious. Lamb shank was a 10/10! Also I love a small but important detail, they informed me of the wait time for a specific dish because it’s cooked a certain way and made it known the wait for the dish was 35 minutes. Excellent."

Our waitress was great until the end of the meal she disappeared and another waiter came and asked if we had gotten our check yet after 15 minutes. They pack the restaurant so multiple times during the night we had waiters bumping into our chairs. Overall it seems like a high end place but execution could be better"

Every person I ever brought here left in awe. the food, the service and the consistency are a true mark of excellence for Dimitri, the owner. Last night, we drove from Connecticut to PVD to dine on my wife's birthday. I had the Chilean Sea Bass. It was one of my favorite meals of my 74 yrs. Eric, our server, was exemplary. Not having Cafe Nuovo nearby is one of my only regrets about leaving RI."
