from Google"Omg- a secret vegan haven!!! I knew about the Hudson St Deli from years ago (when I was an omnivore). I stopped in while passing through the area today, expecting to grab my dad an Italian grinder. The Farmory, made with tempeh intead of pastrami, may have just changed my life. The banana peppers and hot sauce dance in the most medical way. The deli also offers vegan cheese substitutions and had 3 sandwiches today, with the vegan icon. I was in a rush but will for sure be back THIS week. Keep up the amazing work, Hudson Street Deli!!!"

"I’ve been meaning to check out Hudson Street Deli for a while now and had the good fortune to meet a friend for lunch the other day! We both had sandwiches which were very delicious and fresh. We ate outside at one of the two tables available for seating which was great just seeing the neighborhood stopping by to pick up their online orders was a delight as well as we enjoyed the wonderful weather."
"I got the Dexter sandwich and it was okay ($11). It wasn’t large, lacked flavor overall and was boring. I couldn’t taste the fancy lemon-basil Mayo at all. They put a nice amount of turkey in it and the ingredients were clean/fresh. Just not worth $11."
"Food went so far downhill under new owners. I was so excited to get my favorite breakfast sandwich again but as soon as I opened the wrapper on the sandwich I could see pieces of broken eggshell on the bagel which I picked off, nbd. But the egg was so greasy and brown. I understand that when the butter burns egg can look brown, but this just looked like it was cooked on a dirty grill and I still occasionally got pieces of shell. Additionally, the breakfast sandwich that I got has jalapeno cream cheese on it.And when I used to get it, it would clear my sinuses right out. But there was so little cream cheese on it that their sandwich had no spice at all. So disappointing. I was a regular before it closed due to the previous owners sickness, but do not see myself returning."
