What People Are Saying
from Google"This place is very and well noticeably horribly managed. Workers claimed that the day of the Brown incident they were shown no sympathy what's so ever and told to keep working/cleaning by their manager. The owner is very unself-aware of anything in her shop. do better as a restaurant owner."
"A neat little hole in a wall crepe shop just off of the main road on Brown campus. About $8/piece for both the crepe and Belgian waffle. Friendly staff, clean environment, and the crepe&waffle tasted good, a bit on the sweet side for the crepe. Enjoyed the ice coffee though, smooth!"
"Loved the Mary! The chocolate and strawberry was good. But not the best I've had. It needed more of both strawberry and Nutella. Love the shape of the crepes! Easy to share. The staff was really nice and accommodating!"
"Absolutely delicious sweet and savory crepes, just the right size for a filling meal. Pretty quick service. Indoor and outdoor seating options, though it's tough to grab a table during a rush."
"I had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience at La Crêperie. The person taking our order was rude from the start, and then two other customers accidentally took our food out to their car. Instead of being upfront about what happened or asking if we were okay with it, the employee just tried to hand the same food back to us. My sister noticed and when I went back to ask, the guy said “yes” and that nothing was done to it. How could you possibly know nothing was done to it? The other customers had been gone for ~5 minutes before they came back with it! Even if nothing was done to it, the other customers clearly had to open it, move the crepes around, and maybe even taste them to realize it wasn’t their order. That’s completely unsanitary, and on top of that, he didn’t even offer to have it remade. We wasted 22 minutes waiting, and when we asked for a refund, he acted annoyed. He didn’t offer it himself, and we had to ask twice before he finally processed it. The whole situation was handled poorly and unprofessionally — definitely not the kind of service or care you’d expect when eating out."
