"My wife and I saw the restaurant on RI restaurant week and decided to give it a try. Boy, am I glad we did! We absolutely loved the food. My wife got the pulled pork with slaw and mac n cheese, I got the half a rack of ribs, with slaw and hand cut fries. Both meals were delicious."

"Walking into Moonshine Alley on a cold day was such a treat. I was greeted by one of the nicest bartenders I’ve ever met — Sarah. She was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and made me feel right at home. I ordered an espresso martini and it was smooth and perfectly made, just the way I like it. The food here is also fantastic. I had the apple salad, which was rich, flavorful, and a generous portion. The establishment itself is surprisingly spacious with plenty of bar seating and more than enough tables to relax and enjoy your meal or drinks. Sarah was an amazing bartender, offering great conversation and excellent service throughout my visit. I will definitely be back again!"

"Had a great lunch with friends at Moonshine Alley today. Cristian is a top notch server & bartender. He was by himself but balanced it beautifully. Very personable and checked in repeatedly to make sure we had everything we needed. Food was delicious. One friend is from “the south” and was very impressed with the southern flavor (including the tea). I had the “Ring of Fire” chicken wrap & it was perfect as were the hand cut fries. The others had the steak sandwich, strawberry salad, waffle fries. Everyone was happy & full from the generous portions. Thanks for a great first experience and thank Cristian for us. Looking forward to coming back."

"I needed a spot to grab lunch before the boat tour at the landing. I found this spot right across from the parking garage. ( paid $18 for the day). I saw this place it was empty but it looked inviting. Christian greeted me and made me feel welcome. He answered all of my questions and the food was so good. I got the garlic hot wings and a mule. And he checked on me and even talked to me for a bit. He was super nice and pretty cool. This was my first encounter in Rhode Island ( I'm from Texas) and I'm glad I went to this restaurant and met this bar tender."

"Holy smokes. Hands down this place serves the best chicken and waffles I have ever had. I was so utterly floored that I wild literally make a trip to Providence just to eat that perfection (I’m from Florida). This chef should get a Michelin star, if they don’t have one already. Came here on a comedy bus tour for my sister’s birthday and it blew me away and reminds me what a great culinary culture thrives here. Awesome ambiance, great vibes, unbelievably great breakfast!"
