from Google"Tony's Colonial Food store in the deli I ordered a tuna sandwich. It was fresh not made like the tuna fish sandwiches I've eaten in the past. Which is usually done with multiple ingredients. Less is more. A different twist made the experience. Italian tuna fish with slice olives, lettuces, light mayo, pepper jack cheese on toasted warm loaf...Can't ask for more."
"I have been going here four generations now all my family have taken one another.. From my grandmother to my daughter and I am 50.. The last 3 years They're prepared food, artichoke stuffed, calzone, arinsini ball, chicken marsala. Have been lacking. Their cheeses in their deli meat are top notch, though, still. I purchased a beautiful cookie tray for Christmas Eve here. And I must say it was the best cookie tray out of all the stores the normal ones that you can go to purchase cookie trays on the hill. Each cookie was something special made with good quality Ingredients trust me I know my italian cookies... I wish they would go back to uping their game on the prepared items. My highlight, they have a man when you walk in the door That is dressed in a Beautiful suit and sells wine And some cheese, he is the nicest guy in the world. My face lights up every time I see him. And he smells so good. Which brings a classic good old fashioned experience I'm not sure if they changed. Cooks for the prepared food, but boy, I can tell the difference.. Big disappointment on the stuffed artichoke especially. Too much stuffing undercooked, if you're gonna stuff an artichoke, you're in an italian market. You put robie, broccoli or some sausage in your stuffing, not just bread. Sandwiches, a decent, although a little chimpsy on the product. All in all very authentic"
"LOVE TONY'S COLONIAL Our first visit back to Tony's In 4 years. We used to stop every time on our way to Boston from Virginia so we could buy coveted Italian food and other treats for my husband's sister (she died in 2021) We bought all the tiny little dry pastas that I love & impossible to find in Virginia, jars of hot stuffed cherry peppers with provolone & prosciutto, gorgonzola stuffed olives, extra sharp provolone, sugar free biscottis for a friend & loafs of crusty bread. My husband had a serving of sausage & rigatoni and I had a serving of cold orzo with spinach, feta and chunks of lemon and also some cold chick pea salad. Staff is wonderful. They are helpful & accommodating and they apply no pressure while you make your choices."
"This place is amazing, so authentic. The wine and cheese guy up front is so nice and knowledgeable. Ms. Gina is very welcoming. The deli has a great variety and the imported pasta is as close to the kind you would find in a kitchen in the boot. Always love stopping here."
