What People Are Saying
from Google"Like clockwork, you can find me at Iron Works the moment I hop off the plane. Each visit has been consistently pleasant and tasty. The restaurant is conveniently located across the street from the Providence airport and connected to the Hilton Hotel. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare since it’s tied to the hotel and functions as a commuter spot. Peak days are nuts for parking. Buuuuuuuuuuut once you walk inside, all of that fades away. You step into a modern, cozy space that immediately relaxes you, paired with great service and a perfectly clean environment. My server has regularly been Brianna. She is very sweet, personable, and engaging. She knows the menu well and always makes great recommendations. After coming here a few times, my go-to drink is the Tawny Ember. Chef’s kiss! I’ve also ordered the Brussels sprouts, grilled swordfish, and fish tacos. All great choices. And honestly, it’s Rhode Island, you really can’t go wrong with seafood. Stop by and give them a shot."
"The food was delicious, the staff was kind, considerate, and very attentive. They made me feel comfortable and cared for. The meatloaf with spinach and House made mashed potatoes was incredible. The crispy brussel sprouts with bacon and apples in a balsamic glaze or some of the best I have ever eaten. I opted for an unusual choice, chocolate tort, unusual for me. Me. I like chocolate but I don't love it, this chocolate tort however, was sensational! Thanks to John for recommending my dessert today. I made my reservation for 7:00 however arrived early to make sure I could find the restaurant and parking spot. I sat in my vehicle as the sunset and even the view of the building from the outside was lovely."
"Hubby and I were out Christmas shopping and grab a bite for lunch. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich (pictured) and the hubby ordered the Wood Grilled Burger. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich was the best crispy chicken sandwich I have ever had- so much flavor, juicy and sooo good! The hubby said his burger was cooked to perfection and also very flavorful. We never order desert at lunch. But our waitress was so good at her job, that we actually ordered the Cast Iron Bread Pudding with ice cream and shared it. It was amazing and plenty to share! The price of everything was very reasonable. We will definitely go back!"
"We walked in without a reservation for 2 after 7:30pm on a Friday night & the hostess crew was smiling & hospitable. Zach was a warm & effective server, who brought us hot food from an open kitchen that did not disappoint. I highly recommend the sausage, kale & sweet potato soup du jour. I also enjoyed the maitaki mushroom appetizer. Splitting the bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla gelato is how we finished our meal, together with after dinner drinks: a hot toddy & the Midnight in Providence (like a Manhattan) martini. Yum! 😋"
"Straight up. Without question. This is my favorite restaurant in RI. Period. The grill is unmatchable by any other restaurant this state has to offer, due to it's flame, it's smoke and season. Every dish comes out as consistent as the last visit. Personally I love the Salmon. I love how they change the ingredients with the seasons, everytime is consistent as the last. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Everytime we go here, it's always an experience. Looking forward to the fall Salmon dish this year and every once in awhile, I'm good for that Wagyu burger, as you also can't get a better flavor on a Wagyu burger than what that grill has to offer you. 5 stars all the way. Looking forward to my next visit"
