"Second State Coffee is such a cute, quiet, and quaint spot — the perfect place to relax and enjoy a really good cup of coffee. I tried one of their fall drinks, the Sweet Potato Pie latte, and it was delicious! A unique, cozy flavor that wasn’t too sweet and still had a great, rich coffee taste. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, and the barista was very pleasant and welcoming. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!"

"This was one of the two coffee shops I chose to visit on our visit to Charleston. Second state was a great experience. The lady who helped us was patient when helping me pick beans that matched my preferences. She even gave me a small discount to taste the brew before buying. She made me feel welcome with my toddler daughter, and I left feeling excited to return again. Coffee was delicious and I felt valued as a visitor. Will be back the next time we’re in town.
