What People Are Saying
from Google"I’ve eaten at plenty of places that say “artisan,” and then hand me something that clearly came from a factory … and people wonder why I have trust issues. 🤷♂️ Crave Artisan Specialty Market is NOT one of those places. This little diner/bistro on Millwood Drive is the real deal. I stopped in for lunch and had the turkey panini with pesto, and let me tell you—this sandwich was actually handcrafted, thoughtfully made, and ridiculously delicious. Perfectly pressed, balanced flavors, and clearly made by someone who cares deeply about food and probably about your happiness too. Then there was the collard, black-eyed peas, and rice soup they made specially for New Year’s Eve day. Comfort food royalty. One spoonful felt like good luck, good vibes, and a warm hug all at once. If prosperity really does come from eating black-eyed peas, I’m set for the year. Service? Impeccable. Friendly, welcoming, and the kind of place where you instantly feel like you picked the right lunch spot. They also have tons of delicious grab-and-go items, which means future me will definitely be back (often). If you’re looking for food that lives up to the word artisan, Crave doesn’t just talk the talk—it panini-presses the walk. Highly recommend. Five stars without hesitation. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"
"i came in and ordered a kale caesar salad with chicken breast to go. with tax the total was $17.58. pretty steep for a caesar salad with chicken. i put a picture. in the second pic thats the chicken that is the $4 charge… pretty pathetic. also when my order was ready they put it on a to go shelf next to where i was sitting waiting and never called my name. i dont understand why they wouldnt have given it to me directly or at least called my name. i was sitting there waiting for a while when it was done before i realized it was just sitting on a shelf and no one was going to tell me anything. the guy working the counter was nice and the salad tasted good but i was somewhat irritated by the whole experience"
"This place never disappoints! The food is always fresh and tasty, and the presentation is beautiful! It is very vegetarian and vegan friendly! The service is great and the staff is always nice! Check it out if you want to go to a nice local sandwich place."
"Sandwiches were underwhelming considering all the reviews. Sandwich was good, we got the Devine and it was light on meat and insides imo. Taste good, place was nice, also if your under 40, expect to feel young here lol"
"I have to give this place 5 stars on the food—that is not only for today’s lunch but also for every meal I have had at that place. The service is usually great too, but today was like the diner scene in “5 Easy Pieces”. Their soup can be really good. They sell it by the bowl, for $8, and by the cup, for $6. You get almost twice as much for $2 more. I ordered a bowl of corn chowder. But the other kind they cooked today—I like that kind a lot too. So I asked the cashier if I could get half and half. “Mixed together?” “No, in separate containers but the same total amount.” “I will ask the manager.” I know the owner but I had never seen this heavy set manager before. The owner is a really cool, laid back, relaxed person. “No, we can’t do that,” the manager told me. “Why not? Is it against company policy or something?” “We just can’t do that. You can order two cups.” “I can order two cups?” “Yes.” “I don’t want two cups. Just make it a bowl of corn chowder.” So I paid for the corn corn chowder and paid with my debit card, and added no tip. It was a take out order but I always tip anyway, except today. I drank the soup. It tasted like Campbell’s and went back inside and ordered a sandwich, the Webster, which I recommend. I ordered it as a take out but was going to eat it on the patio outside. Again no tip. It was the same cashier, who seemed a bit thick. “Am I allowed to drink this drink with the sandwich if I eat it on the patio?” I happened to have the drink with me. “Yes.” “Maybe you should clear it with the manager.” The manager cleared it and neither one knew I was trolling"
