"Sweet Al’s is a Great Coffee shop at The Beach house. During my coastal weekend, I visited three times after my sunrise beach walk & had a great experience each visit. The coffee warm and iced were delicious and the pastries were so fresh and each bite was as delicious as the first!! Brea, Welcomed us on the first visit and mentioned pistachio almond croissants for Sunday morning. They were absolutely delicious! It was also a pleasure to meet Al Sunday morning. This is a great spot and I look forward to returning to enjoy more delicious coffee, and pastries."

"Short wait to get inside to order, but reasonable. Beautiful selection of breakfast eats, I got the apple Danish and it was great. Dark roast drip coffee was quite good. Just enough seating outside for the customers rotating through. They should rethink garbage can placements as some folks, including me, had to sit (literally) bumped up against a somewhat stinky can. Cashier was helpful and friendly. One of the staff that appeared to be making some of the coffee orders and doing things like refilling the creamer pot was pretty grumpy. To the point of being rude to not only me but to the cashier as well. She seemed pretty put out at having to refill the creamer pot. The ONLY downer during this visit. Loud, rude tourists letting their kids mess with my bicycle (not a rental) was not good... but that's not on Al's. I wouldn't normally mention something like this, but just a warning if you are bike racking a bike you care about."

"- Raspberry filled donut was good. - Spinach tomato feta quiche was delicious. My husband liked the sausage something that he got, but over all, it was okay. The pastries at 10am don’t taste as fresh as 8am or earlier. The line is crazy long and there are 3-4 people behind the counter working there. I would recommend going earlier for fresher pastries and bigger selection. We did not get everything we wanted and taste today was not up to snuff/previous experiences. My 9yo was excited about the macaroons, but when she got two of them, she tried a little bite of each and didn’t like them so she ended up trashing them and was sad. There is no seating inside, but there are some gross sugar covered tables outside that you have to wipe off on your own with your own wipes you hopefully brought since there are no napkins outside. I would only go again if I could go at 8am or earlier. If you’re out and about while shopping (stores open at 10am) it’s not worth it."

"Wow, I’m so glad I stopped at this new place for me! The ice latte was incredible. The coffee had such an amazing flavor and depth. The fresh bagel sandwich was amazing and the donuts wow is all I can say best don’t ever had. The lemon blueberry was amazing. We had the peanut butter chocolate later. It was incredible as well as the coconut cream filled. Can’t wait to go back tomorrow."

"If you’re looking for coffee alternative on the island, try Sweet Al’s cafe at the Coligny Plaza. The day we stopped by, it was raining non stop but the cafe was still lively and serving coffee. First, it’s a happening spot at the edge of the plaza where all foot traffic begins and ends so plan for a short wait. Outside, there is plenty of seating to wait or sit and enjoy your coffee. Second, the cafe is small, very small so you may have to stand outside. While waiting, you may witness the onsite bakery and all the behind scenes stuff. I wasn’t a fan because it came off as unorganized and junky but the cinnamon roll pastry we had was pretty good. Third, the star of the show was the coffee!! Mane, it’s strong so don’t come expecting Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks House Blend. Now strong doesn’t mean bad; just come prepared for a deep dark roast with earthy, toasted cocoa, and oven baked flavors. With that, I would recommend for the experience but not daily. The prices are a little over par with your best coffee shops so daily may become expensive. The service was generally good except for this new “begging for tips” thing on your receipt- see Chick-fil-A for no begging and great service. Overall, the ladies running joint did a great job of getting you in and out so try it if you’re in the area."
