What People Are Saying
from Google"I love supporting local coffee shops and I've been here about 10 times but this location makes me question my choice every time I walk in the door. My coffee is always great but it's baristas that make a coffee shop welcoming and I never feel that here. You would be lucky to catch a smile from anyone who works here, no small talk, very monotone and never friendly. I love second state coffee and the location but the staff has me questioning if I will ever return. I understand coffee shops are busy and can be stressful but a smile or a "how's your day" would be nice!"
"Great coffee shop with plenty of seating in a central location. The baristas behind the counter gave me my drink and I thought they made a mistake by giving me a cup that an artist drew on- nope, it was just from them doodling the sickest drawing ever on a cup. I would leave more stars but I left them a tip instead. I’ll be back for more"
"Sweetest staff, made my child’s day 😆 made a design on her hot chocolate! How cool. Food was delicious. The fall French toast was amazing with apples on top"
"I have come here periodically over the years and in my recent visit was more disappointed. The coffee was solid, and service and environment was nice but the breakfast sandwich was pretty average. It was just a standard hamburger bun toasted on griddle with hastily scrambled eggs and a slice of American cheese thrown on top. The sausage was good but I wont be ordering that again."
"The pour-overs are smooth and thoughtful, though sometimes you wonder if they’re judging your order. The space? All exposed brick and sunlight, perfect for pretending to work while actually just Instagramming your latte. The seasonal pastries disappear fast, so you’d better commit before someone else does."
