"I visited this coffee shop for the first time with my family and was so smitten by it! It is run by the sweetest husband and wife duo, Tyler and Kennedy, who are passionate about vintage clothing, good coffee, and great customer service. I tried one of the Fall Seasonal drinks, the iced Charlie Brown latte, and it was delicious! My boys also ate a few of the muffins that are supplied by a local bakery and really enjoyed them. I wish I would have had more time to sit and sip my coffee because the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. If you are in the area, I cannot recommend Herbert’s enough! 10/10!"

"I loved discovering Herbert’s Vintage and Coffee while staying at the Starlight Inn across the street — it’s an easy, quick morning walk and one of the most welcoming places I found in Charleston, SC. Their vintage clothing selection is beautifully curated (I found an amazing locally-made candle too!), and the seasonal maple latte was so good I came back the next day for an iced matcha latte. The decor and vibe are truly unique — full of character, not commercial, clearly locally owned — and I noticed the staff were kind to everyone who came in. It’s clear they care about the neighborhood and community as much as great coffee and style. If you’re exploring Charleston and want a place that combines creative local vintage, excellent coffee, and genuine people, and a unique aesthetic, Herbert’s is perfect!"

"Wow!!! When I say this is the best coffee shop in Charleston, I mean it!!!! The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy; situated outside the busyness of downtown in North Charleston. You can tell the owners took their time to curate an amazing collection of antique decor and clothing. The clothing is reasonably priced and there is really something for everyone—I bought a cute 70s tee! I recommend getting a hot vanilla and honey latte and a blueberry muffin 💛🍯 The owners truly created something unique and special. I look forward to coming back :)"
