"We found this place via google and thought we would give it a try. First, parking is a major issue. There’s a public access lot just down from the restaurant but it’s like 10 bucks an hour to park there beyond that the only other places to park are permit only for local condos. The food was good, we enjoyed our meals. The crab cakes were very good and so was the flounder po-boy. The calamari was ok but I was disappointed the banana peppers weren’t also deep fried and were just raw and laid on top. It makes the calamari breading soggy from the pepper juice. Overall it was okay, a little pricey but a cool local spot."

"We stay at Towers on the grove and is a short walk to Snooky's. If you drive parking may be a problem. We ate there just before Christmas and hardly anyone there but in the summer it's an entirely different vibe. I had the Jumbo Shrimp and the wife had Crab Cakes. Both were excellent."

"We came to Snooky’s simply because it was recommended online as one of the best spots in North Myrtle/Cherry Grove. We dined downstairs, inside, and had a server that wasn’t the worst but wasn’t the best either. Very middle of the road. The food, however, was so good we knew we had to come back and give it another try. Enter Lauren. This time we ate outside, upstairs at the bar, and Lauren was our bartender. Of course, it needs no saying, but the food was incredible (again). What really made the night, though, was Lauren herself. She was quick on her feet, even while busy, and had everyone at the bar taken care of as well as a 12 top party at the bar tables. Her drinks were perfect, as was her energy. The view at Snooky’s, and the food, is reason enough to check them out; but Lauren is definitely a top contender as well. (for the sake of pictures, I personally started with the Conch Ceviche which was fresh, flavorful with the perfect kick, and nice and light. I followed that with the Sesame Encrusted Ahi Tuna (cooked at chef’s recommendation) for my entree and the tuna was perfectly cooked, the sauce was to die for, and the rice and veggies on the side paired well with the dish. Of course, for dessert, I went with the mile high chocolate cake and I regret NOTHING; well, nothing other than not taking pictures of the drinks Lauren made. I am a gin lover and picky about my dirty martinis, but she made it perfectly; and didn’t even bat an eye when I asked for three shakes of hot sauce in the drink to give it a kick. The people I was with ordered their THE O SEA D and the SOME BEACH and even though I didn’t try them myself, they were well liked and highly recommended!)"

"All of the food was good! Calamari was tender, fish bites were amazing (our daughter thought they were chicken nuggets so that was an added bonus) and the waiter, Will, was very attentive! We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. We will definitely be back again! We came around 4:40 to beat the crowd and walked right in. There are longer wait times the later that you go."
