"My husband and I wanted to try this place for months and we finally were able to. The staff greets everyone, there’s a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owners are very kind and friendly. I tried my very first canelé and it was everything I imagined and more! The croissants are absolutely amazing, buttery and flakey goodness. It was just perfect with the cappuccino I got. We obviously had to get some goodies to take home. When we come back to visit family in CLT again, we will definitely be taking that 45min drive to come to this amazing bakery."

"Mado Paris Bakery on Cherry Road in Rock Hill is so amazing! If you haven’t been there. Need to check it out. Chef Serge is the real thing. So is his megawatt smile and sunny disposition. He makes all of his pastries & delicacies with an absolute love and pride, and it’s evident in the results, but also the way he speaks about them. The butter, flour, chocolate, and more is imported from France. It is shipped over to New Jersey and then flown on a refrigeration cargo plane to Charlotte. If you know your pastries, then you know that the butter absolutely matters and he uses the best as he’s holding up in one of the pictures here. If you really want a real treat, date location, gift idea, or just some self-care, this is your place."

"My husband and I are always on the hunt for a local bakery while traveling. He stumbled upon this gem on our trip to Rock Hill. The pastries taste as good as they look. They are absolutely beautiful and the perfect touch of sweetness. Oh and the chocolate flavored coffee, HELLO! Yummm We got a wide variety of items and they were all good. I’ve never been to France, but this place made me want to go. LOL The staff is super nice. The pastry chef is super nice. The atmosphere is cozy (and pretty neat because the old bank vault door is still intact."
