"We needed a fun stop in Rock Hill on our drive back to Charleston. We heard this place was amazing and it did not disappoint. Cafe, soap making, jewelry bar, candle making… great gifts as well. "I had my wedding here on September 21, 2025. I rented the outdoor alleyway and the upstairs portion of the store. The staff was absolutely amazing, and delivered the perfect day that I’ll always remember. They were very considerate when I wanted to set up meetings to go over plans, and when I asked to have a tasting of their menu. They knew exactly what to do to help when we got ready to set up and get ready. On top of all of this, it was one of the most affordable venues I found in the area. I cannot recommend using this venue enough."

"We chose The Mercantile for our wedding, which was a Sunday morning brunch, and it was absolutely perfect! From the very beginning, every single person we worked with was such a pleasure. Having everything we needed in one place made planning so much easier, and any time I needed to make adjustments, they were quick to respond and accommodate. The flowers and centerpieces were stunning, the staff was professional and friendly, and the food and bar were excellent. Our guests raved about the entire experience. "I brought my daughter and her friend here this past Friday. They made a candle, soap, and bracelet. The staff is OUT OF THIS WORLD! They were super patient and kind to our young duaghters. So much so we barely had to help with anything. There's a going girl there who is high school (can't remember her name) but she was so warm and friendly with our girls. Despite being super busy you feel like they are dealing with you one on one, which is so nice. My daughter is already begging to come back. Thank you for such a great experience."

"This is thee perfect place to have a girls day and catch up with your friends! There is a fabulous experience called the “fast pass” where each of you pay abt $50 and get to enjoy four wonderful experiences, lasting abt 2.5hrs total! You can enjoy your experiences in any order. We chose to do the bead-making first, we each made a very classy and elevated beaded bracelet ☺️ the wonderful staff will help you with the closures and adding charms. Next we took 4 steps to the left and did the candle making 🥰 there are over 15 fragrances to choose from, each with a detailed written description of the scent profile ☺️ you chose your jar, mix the wax and fragrance, then hand pour your own candle 🕯️ Making the soap bar wasn’t very different from the candles, but still its own wonderful experience 🧼 we chose another fragrance, added flower petals and oatmeal to our high quality natural soaps, and viola! Lastly, we did our dry soup making. You can choose from several sized mason jars. You will also choose a soup recipe, then shop for the ingredients on a beautifully curated pantry wall of clearly labeled containers 🤩 it’s full of whimsy The wonderful and helpful staff will wrap your items in tissue paper with twill, so that they are ready to gift (or keep 🤭) and you’ll walk out with a bag full of goodies that smells oh so delicious 😋 and memories to last a lifetime 🥰"
