"We we're stationed in Sumter a few years ago and I found Burbakers cafe while exploring some of the downtown area and..wanting some coffee.☺️ The cafe was so cute, and the antique store was fun to look around in while waiting on your order, or after getting it. I Immediately understood that the person or people that made or is making the menu went to culinary school, or is incredibly gifted. The coffee and food was always delicious and most was made in house by the staff. We ended up deciding to move back to our original area a couple of years ago but recently moved back to Sumter and was excited to see a different location but same atmosphere. I recently went to a new coffee shop that I almost immediately regretted going to, what I got wasn't coffee...idk what it was. I drove to Burbakers and told them what happened and that I wanted a cold brew, and decided to get the seasonal one. The the staff were wonderful and made sure I was happy with my drink. The peppermint cold brew is outstanding, and the oatmeal cream pie out of the world. Thank you to Burbakers for changing my morning."

"Friendly staff. Space is small as they just started. I got their cold brew. Unfortunately I can’t recommend them at this time. I paid over $7 for a mediums cold brew and it tastes like watered down coffee. This is after a 10 minute wait for them to dilute their concentrate that they use to make the cold brew. I hope to see them improve and flourish in the future."
