What People Are Saying
from Google"Cute coffee shop but we ordered a banana peanut butter jelly sandwich and once the girl brought it to us she told us that they were out of bananas AFTER it was already made and she gave it to us without any banana. It would have been nice to be told they were out before we paid and already had our food… my coffee was okay nothing amazing. The service wasn’t that amazing either."
"Love cottonwood! A great spot to work, study, chat & sip a tasty beverage. I enjoy that they feature local artists monthly."
"An iconic meeting spot for the youth of Brookings. The coffee is on par with basically every other coffee place I've been to. The layout of the building is cool since there is a "back room" which sometimes has jazz events and artists perform. The ukulele club of Brookings (at least currently) meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm there to play some songs and sing (totally subject to change. It's just this way currently). The layout is such that it encourages you to talk to the baristas kind of. Coincidentally, I know most of the staff, and I frequently have a good chat. The baristas seem cooler here than average for a coffee place."
"The main street location was excellent. The service was excellent and the quality was excellent. I even bought coffee beans I didn't intend to buy. I was excited to try the other location for lunch. For the 6th St location, the customer service was poor. The cashier was rude. My food was burnt. Very strange contrast between the 2 locations."
"Revisiting an old high school haunt. Service was great. Whoever is on that Sunday morning shift rocks."
