"The service at this bubble tea shop was terrible. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea, which was listed at $6.76. I was charged an extra $1 for the brown sugar flavor, and each add-on topping costs $1.50. This was never explained beforehand. What made it worse was that the drink was filled with more than half a cup of ice. When I questioned the price and pointed out that I was never informed of any extra charges for the flavor, the owner became very impatient. And asked me, 'Do I want it or not?' She can just refund me. I answered her yes. I would like a refund. Then she complained that she didn’t know how to process a refund, said she had “never had to do a refund in her life,” and claimed she had never met someone as difficult as me. I felt so offended, but I didn’t say anything. She might be about to be deported or forced to return to her country, so she’s probably trying every way she can to get as much money as possible. So I ordered another milk tea with no ice and no toppings. It tasted like it was made with very cheap milk tea powder rather than real tea and milk. This was the worst boba tea experience of my life."
