"We both had a burger and it was absolutely amazing. The Smashburger made from Wagyu beef was perfect! On top of that, we both got a side. I had the beef tallow fries and my partner had the cheese curds. I also added a side of bacon jam and the fry sauce. This food was some of the best tasting food I’ve ever had! I highly recommend visiting"

"Absolutely impressed! First off, the service was so friendly and helpful, they made me feel at home right as I walked in the door. Eager to explain the specials and patient as I picked what to have. Food was incredible! Steak was a quality cut of beef, cooked perfectly. Tender, juicy, flavorful, and not loaded down with sauce or toppings, and just let the meat speak for itself. Top notch. I've had steaks at 3x the price that wasn't nearly as good! Tallow fries are lightly crispy, full of flavor, and were so delicious they didn't even need the sauce (though the sauce was great too). Mashed potatoes were clearly homemade, slightly chunky mash, and the gravy smothered on top was smooth and not overly peppered. Portions were generous, and I left full and very satisfied. Price was super reasonable. I expected to pay more, and got more than I expected. Delightful place to stop for a filling meal after a long day driving and exploring the Dakotas. Cannot recommend it enough, and will absolutely return on my next stay in town!"

"We stopped because a sign said, "Best Burger in Rapid City." I got a double bacon cheeseburger with tallow fries, and it may have been the best burger and fries I've ever had in my life!! A burger and fries might not sound unique, but these people understand delicious flavor!"

"Top 2 favorite restaurant in the black hills Truly the best burger in town. Awesome, friendlty staff. Flavorful patties with everything you need to build a great burger: sauteed mushroom, onions, jalapeños, and special sauce. Lettuce bun if you want. The fries are perfectly crisp and soft inside with their amazing sauce. A few outdoor tables if you want to sit outside."

"Solid experience overall. I liked the burger quite a bit. The fries were a bit dry and over-fried (mostly crispy and not much potato flavor left). My wife’s French dip had great flavor in the meat itself, as well as the jus for dipping. The onions would be better if they were fried/slightly caramelized more. The bun was the weak area as far as not being toasted enough and basically being a hot dog bun. Something with more chew and texture would be great. Not bad, but room for improvement. The beef they use is great, however."
