"We visited this pub once before, and we weren’t impressed enough at the time to rush back. Recently, we were downtown looking for a specific burger at another place, but it was sold out. Since it was freezing outside, we decided to give this pub another try, especially because comfort-style food sounded perfect. We’re so glad we did. We had forgotten how great the atmosphere is, especially with the Irish music. It feels warm, cozy, and welcoming, and now we feel like we’ve missed out by not coming back sooner. The beer was fantastic, especially the heads, absolutely delicious. The raspberry jalapeño burger was good and had exactly the flavors I expected. But the real standout was the Jameson bread pudding. Phenomenal. So, so good. I will definitely be back just for a beer or dessert. I also appreciated the privacy of the bathroom stalls, though overall cleanliness could have been better, especially since it wasn’t busy when we were there. Before leaving, we discovered the basement seating and had to check it out. What a cool space. So many cozy nooks that would be perfect for meeting friends. We will absolutely be back to sit downstairs in one of the alcoves. It would also be fun to see live music down there someday and let it get a little rowdy like a truly authentic Irish pub. All in all, this second visit completely changed our impression. It goes to show that first impressions aren’t always the full story. Sometimes it just takes a second visit to discover a great place. We shouldn’t have waited so long, and we’ll definitely be back."

"I've been here a handful of times and went again on Black Friday. I was reminded how much I like coming here and wanted to leave a review. I got the Kilkenny Cod and my friend got the Chicken & Bacon Pot Pie. Both were very good although my side of veggies were clearly frozen and were disappointing so maybe I would get fries next time."

"We stopped for lunch and our server, Canton, explained the specials and the menu very well. We ordered his suggestions and we all were happy with our meals. Crispy Chicken Salad, Chicken Curry, and Corn Beef with Creamed Cabbage. Very good - thanks Canton!"

"Solo dining for work travel. Attentive staff and comfortable venue. Kilkenny Cod dinner was very flavorful. Guinness was very similar to the pints we had in Ireland. Fun experience, will visit again."

"I've been wanting to try this place for awhile. After leaving the police station, I decided to take the wife to downtown to try it. Upon entering, it's nice. More of a bar than a restaurant vibe. They play Irish music. We ordered a soup and sandwich lunch special and a Reuben. Food was decent. Pretty much slightly above average bar food. Prices weren't bad. Nothing about it would draw me back so it'll be a one and done stop but nothing bad to say about it. Just an average pub with average food."
