from Google"First time visiting and my wife and I had a great date! The oysters were on point (we even ordered a second half dozen!!) the lamb chislic was was really tasty, and the pork cheeks were delectable. My wife had the tuna crudo for her main, and it was a nice sized portion. Great cocktails, wonderful live music (one dude playing at a great volume, very nice ambiance) and exceptional food. The service was excellent too! Our server Rashel was very professional and at the top of her game. Thank you for a great evening, we will be back!"
"We came here for the first time on New Year's Eve at 8 p.m. I liked that the host stand was outside of the front doors. There isn't a huge interior design change between the prior Ode to Food and Rivage, it could use a little something extra for some visual pop. They had a separate and specific New Year's Eve menu. The pheasant rillette was great, it would be nice to have a 4th piece for the price. Unfortunately, two of the entrées we were considering were already sold out. All of the food was excellent, the Turbot is a very light meal, so if you are very hungry, order additional food with it. The steak and potatoes were pretty amazing. The service was great and we waited an average amount of time for everything. The whipped chocolate mousse layers in the chocolate and raspberry cake was slightly hard and waxy, wasn't a fan of it in that cake. The bloody mary is a house-made mix and was wake-you-up spicy in a shocking, but good way. Elevated food = elevated pricing. We will definitely be back."
"I had the chance to attend the soft opening last weekend, and it left me so excited to come back for more. The Leg of Pheasant was rich and full of bold, unique flavors, cooked to perfection. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was the perfect finish to the meal. Every plate was beautifully presented, the service was stellar, and the ambiance is on point. Sioux Falls is truly in for a treat with this addition to the dining scene!"
"Having dinner at this establishment is nothing short of an experience. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted a thoughtful and detailed crew. We were sat and took in the ambiance. Modern, thoughtfully designed, With the heart of South Dakota in mind. It feels like a warm cabin. What truly sets this restaurant apart for me was the devotion to South Dakota’s culinary roots. Rivage Oak has locally sourced ingredients. Very well described on the menu. They are crafted with an artistic flair that’s both imaginative but familiar. The menu features an selection of high-end creations, including venison, perfectly aged steaks, tender chicken, and our South Dakota’s own pheasant. The great thing is they made sure to include good old-fashioned home cooked food for people of any taste. For those seeking a great nightout with you and yours. This is your place. We will be coming back. Often."
"I should start with I’ve traveled extensively, been to 46 states and I’ve had a burger in every state I’ve ever visited. I ate the buffalo burger and the flavor explosion in my mouth was easily the most robust I’ve ever tasted!! The bun was soft, it was amazing. Well worth the money and the walk outside by the river after eating was really really cool. I’ll be back."
