"I enjoy giving business to local business owners, and when this place was recommended to me, I wanted to check it out. It’s located in a small “downtown” area of Alexandria. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s nice inside. Service was good, and the coffee was good. In the back is an area where locals offer things for sale. Overall, I highly recommend this place. The listing on google maps shows this place closed in Sundays, but it was open at 10am on Sunday. FYI."

"While in Alexandria, TN I visited Alexandria Coffee shop on the square. I met one of the owners (Madi) and she told me they were coming up on their first year in operation…CONGRATULATIONS! Grabbed an Americano and a blueberry muffin. Solid coffee…the beans they use have great flavor and the muffin was very good. Loved chatting with Madi, she told me a bit about the area and noted I was a history buff and recommended I visit the cemetery on the hill by the water tower. I later found out it’s actually the Seay Chapel African American Methodist Church and the Eastview (also called Seay's Chapel) Cemetery. I enjoyed my visit to the shop and chatting with Madi…highly recommend this bright spot on the Alexandria square."
