What People Are Saying
from Google"I have had my eye on this place for a while, came in only to find out it’s someplace different altogether. Different cuisine but the same sign. Very misleading. Spanish language, but I don’t think it’s Mexican in any way. You can look at the menus and in my pics and see. The staff wasn’t very interested in translating. Maybe Lard, Stew and Hat means something else but even Google Translate couldn’t help me out. Open unspecific hours."
"Square Meal Cafe catered an event for my mom. The food was beyond delicious!! The lamp chops where cooked perfectly. The seafood salad was beyond good, but that key lime pie showed out. I could have ate that all night. Definitely would recommend them for any event."
"This place is no longer A Square Meal, although their signage is still on the building. It is Pa’ Que Juancho which is a Latin American/Venezuelan restaurant, not Mexican. I did not order as I was expecting something else, but would like to try someday soon. Gave 5 stars as I did not want to hurt the original owners of the establishment as they seemed to have earned a great reputation. See post for previous reviewer for menu."
"Stopped in with mom for a quick bite. We shared the catfish plate with spaghetti. fried okra and corn nuggets. The food was really good, but not salty and fried crispy, but not overcooked. The plate was more than enough for 2ppl. The staff was very friendly and nice."
"Fried catfish, spaghetti, Onion rings and slaw were delicious! Catfish sold only on Fridays"
