What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"While on our trip in Tennessee, my husband and I stopped at a different coffee shop every day. I tried either specials at each one or a white mocha(my fav.) To say this place had been my least favorite so far is doing it justice. Firstly, the overall vibes just weren’t the best here. The place smelled kind of weird, and the people working seemed like they hated to be there. Every other place has had very welcoming vibes with music and decor, but this place just lacked your typical coffee shop hospitality. Onto the coffee(white mocha), it was so bad. I absolutely love coffee and will drink it even if it’s not to my taste, but this was just undrinkable. It genuinely just tasted like milk with a splash of old molded coffee in it. I attached a picture as well and you can tell by the color it’s almost entirely milk. Lastly, parking. The parking in this whole area sucks. But honestly their parking was pretty good so I upped them to 2 stars. They have their own free parking in the back behind the building and you can walk down and around to get to them. This was genuinely the only good thing about this place. The only thing is it’s a bit hard to find the parking unless you accidentally turn down that road, so keep that in mind."
"Dear Goodman Coffee Roasters team, I just had to reach out and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the incredible work you do. At the beginning of October I was in Chattanooga specifically to ride the Tail of the Dragon, but being a serious coffee enthusiast, I also had a short list of roasters I absolutely wanted to visit while I was in town. Goodman was at the top of that list. Little did I know that visit would completely change my coffee journey. I picked up a bag of the Rwanda Nyamasheke District – Red Bourbon, natural process – and the moment I opened it at home, I knew I had found something truly special. An explosive aroma of black cherry hits you first, followed by waves of blueberry and passion fruit. Every single cup has been an absolute joy: bright, complex, juicy, and perfectly balanced. This coffee has genuinely created a “before and after” moment in my (still relatively short) adventure into specialty coffee. The bad news? The bag is almost empty. The good news? I can’t wait to try more of your coffees – the Guava Banana is already calling my name! Thank you for the passion and excellence you put into every roast. The shop was wonderful, the coffee is life-changing, and I’m officially a fan for life. Keep doing what you’re doing – it’s magic in a cup. With gratitude from a very happy customer."
"Very serious baked goods and coffee. We tried a muffin and a scone and a gluten free peanut butter cookie. Just outstanding! (At this time there wasn’t a sign about the cookies being gluten free, but the cashier told me about them) Made in house goodness 😋 Drank cappuccinos one day and cortados another day and they were fabulous. Would absolutely recommend!"
"I consider myself a regular here. Some of the best coffee in all of Chattanooga, or really anywhere I’ve been. A blueberry white chocolate scones with a fresh brew on a cool crisp morning is absolute perfection. All of the staff are super welcoming and professional. Highly recommend trying out Goodmans Coffee for yourself!"
"I have had such good luck with coffee in Chattanooga and Goodman just added to that good luck streak. They still serve lattes in ceramic mugs, an art that seems to be going by the wayside. Not only is it more environmentally responsible, it just tastes better. I got a plain latte with oat milk and my husband got a vanilla latte with oat milk. We also got two muffins: chocolate chip and blueberry. They both got two thumbs up from our three year old. The vibe definitely matched Chattanooga’s off-beat vibe. But the best thing about the coffee shop was how affordable it was! Two coffees and two muffins for less than $15. I’m gonna pack up my house in Nashville and just move here. I spent nearly $50 the other day on coffees and a pair of wraps in my hometown. Keep Chattanooga weird and keep buying your coffee at Goodman."
"The coffee is great and so are the coffee concoctions. Sadly, they are not open at the location in Warehouse Row on Sundays."
