from Google"The baristas are lovely and the new space is so cozy; it’s comforting to be surrounded by wood and warm colors. The temperature feels like a slightly cracked open oven which is perfect temp for the light sweater I had with me. I love when they have new drink specials to try. This season the drinks are Lord of the Rings themed"
"One of my new favorite spots in town to sit and work! Love the vibe and atmosphere of the new location on McCallie. My coffee is always great, made quickly, and everyone is kind. Very inclusive and tons of seating areas. Definitely check this new spot out!"
"My wife and I brought the kids to Chattanooga for the weekend, and, as coffee fanatics, we’re always on the lookout for great 3rd Wave coffee shops. So, when she spotted Mad Priest, we had to stop in to grab a bag of coffee beans. It was almost 6 pm (like, 5:59) on a Sunday, right at closing time, so my wife was nervous about stopping, but I insisted, and, when I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised to find a great selection of freshly-roasted beans. I was greeted by a friendly young lady, and asked for a recommendation, and when I mentioned that I really like African beans, she suggested one of their Ethiopians or a Tanzanian. She said she really liked the Tanzanian Ayenga, so I went with that one. I was especially impressed that, despite it being closing time, i wasn’t rushed, and she took her time helping me choose a great bag of beans. Not only that, but she insisted on giving me a free Americano (which was very good) to go along with it since I’d bought a bag of beans! You never really know what you’re going to get when you buy beans from an unknown roaster, but I was very impressed with the Tanzanian when I brewed a pourover with it the next morning. This coffee is sweet with just the right amount of acidity to make it interesting. My hat’s off to the roaster. And the cherry on top was that the price was very reasonable. And the full 12 oz size was appreciated. Will definitely make it a point to stop in next time we’re in town! Great job guys!"
"This coffee shop is small and cozy, with a warm atmosphere that makes it a nice spot to relax. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the coffee tasted great. Prices are a little on the higher side, but overall it’s a good place to enjoy a quality cup of coffee"
"Lovely coffee, welcoming staff, and delicious vegan treats that were a nice surprise! ‘Parking was also a breeze. The atmosphere inside is rich and cozy . Place has LOTR nods in the latte names and decor (so fun)! ‘Seating layout encourages conversation with neighbors while also boasting enough space to work remotely and have your own workstation. 10/10 - ‘Looking forward to visiting again soon. 🙏"
